Garzeno is the most important village in the Valle Albano; in the centre of the village is the Parish Church of San Pietro and San Paolo. This medieval church was rebuilt in 1400 and then renovated in the Baroque era, when the presbytery and the side altars were painted by Giovan Mauro della Rovere and the Recchi brothers.
Walking through the streets that surround the church, you can admire hidden corners, rustic houses, chapels, fountains and the rural village’s atmosphere.
Traveling around 7km from the town in our own cars, we will arrive at the La Camosciata farm, a rural setting in which Cristina will introduce us to her animals: goats, donkeys, sheep and pigs and all their produce.
Meeting point: Parrocchiale di Garzeno’s square at 3pm
Cost 10€ per person, (Free for children aged under 12)
